Every job is different: just as your documentation needs are unique to you, so is the solution. But in each project, there are a number of key stages:
We start by analysing your requirements: what does the purpose of the new document? Who is the target audience? How is it going to be used? What material do you have already?
With the answers to those questions we can make a proposal for developing the documentation you need. Our proposal will include costs and timescales; where the project needs outside input we will recommend photographers, illustrators and graphic designers. For larger projects we will also develop a literature plan.
Once you give us the go-ahead, we develop and write the document. The first steps may be research into the subject, or going to site to see your product in action. On larger projects we will agree an outline structure with you, before writing a word.
Finally, we deliver the documentation in the agreed format, which may be a Word document, a web-page or a full-colour brochure.
