In my years of working with data sheets and brochures in the construction industry I’ve seen some wonders of wriggling, but this one takes the biscuit:
Necessary care has been given in order to provide an accurate information. Yet XXX does not accept any responsibility for the accuracy of the information given in this document. XXX retains the right to make any changes on the information given in this brochure without prior acknowledgement.
I can cope with the translate-ese (an accurate information?), but it leaves me wondering why anyone would trust the document, or buy a product based on such an unreliable document.
